Brother Franz House
Brother Franz House
Since September 2008, the Kreuzberg and its Franciscan monastery have been enriched by a unique place of encounter, reflection and experience, the Brother Franz House.
The historic, listed building from 1867 is one of the oldest buildings at Kreuzberg Monastery. The impressively designed exhibition "Francis of Assisi and God's Creation" forms the centerpiece of the house. In five chapters, visitors can discover the world of thought of St. Francis and the Franciscan community. The spiritual exhibition invites visitors to find inner peace and reflection.
A tourist information office is located in the entrance area. The staff here will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the Kreuzberg and the Rhön. Hiking maps, souvenirs and devotional items can be purchased here. The special feature of the tourist information office in the Bruder Franz Haus is that it is the highest information point in Franconia at 860 meters above sea level.
