Brühl Garden
Brühl Garden
The historic Brühl garden was only converted into a city park in 1940. Before that, it had been a spa garden for many years, and before that a pleasure garden used by the governor of Mainz, Boyneburg. In the meantime, burials for the deceased were repeatedly carried out on the site without the assistance of the church. The name first came about in the 1920s due to the park's location in Erfurt's "Brühl" district.
The Brühler Garten can be reached by tram lines 1 and 2, stop Brühler Garten and line 4 stop Theater. By car, you can reach it via Mainzerhofplatz. In the Brühler Garten there is a concert pavilion, a playground, benches and a disabled WC.
