In the tranquil half-timbered village of Stolberg in the southern Harz region, coffee lovers will find the family-run Café Alt in Stubengasse, just a few steps away from the market square. The rustically furnished café, with lots of characteristic wood, exudes a special charm with a cozy atmosphere. Lovingly decorated, guests will find a cozy spot here, in summer also outside in the courtyard of the rustic half-timbered building, right next to the babbling brook.

Cakes and tarts are of course home-baked at Café Alt, often with fresh fruit and ingredients from the region. There is also ice cream and savory snacks. Great importance is attached to the quality of the coffee, as well as organic and sustainable, fair-trade products.
