Guests can follow in the footsteps of Imperial Chancellor Otto von Bismarck at the former manor in the small village of Braunsroda on the Hohe Schrecke. After 20 years of development, the owners Kristin and Georg von Bismarck have created a small country paradise in today's von Bismarck estate. In the estate café, visitors experience stylish hospitality and can enjoy home-baked sheet cakes and handmade pies, for example after a hike to the nearby suspension rope bridge in the forests of the Hohe Schrecke.

The historic roots of the manor house date back to 1722. Today, the former agricultural estate is not only home to the cozy Gutscafé in the baroque manor house, but also three vacation apartments. In addition, a large farmers' market with regional specialties takes place in the large courtyard every 1st Saturday of the month from April to December - from basket weavers, carpenters and wood carvers to butchers and cheesemakers: the focus here is on agriculture, gardening and crafts.
