Café & Hotel Daheim
Café & Hotel Daheim
The café and apartment hotel, lovingly restored under the direction of Berlin architect H.-K. Wölfer, is now welcoming guests again after four years of refurbishment. A fascinating mix of urban lifestyle and quaint Wilhelminian architecture create an inimitable atmosphere.
Our house, built between 1913 and 1914, is one of the most beautiful in the climatic health resort of Masserberg. In 1956, VEB Kohlenanlagebau Leipzig took over the house as a company holiday home. Even today, the affectionate name "Kohle" (coal) is still on everyone's lips and is a household name for many people in and around Masserberg. The successful renovation has preserved a monument that commemorates the beginning of mountain tourism in Masserberg and continues to exist together with the Kurhaus Masserberg - in the immediate vicinity.
