Camping ground Nüßleshof
Camping ground Nüßleshof
In the middle of the Thuringian Forest, away from roads and towns, lies the Nüßleshof in the valley of the Fambach. First mentioned around 1170, the farm originally served to supply the nearby castle and later the mines in the surrounding area.
The first vacation guests were welcomed as early as 1850, and a small inn and vacation homes were built on site. In the middle of the last century, the campsite was added - right on the edge of the forest, 3 kilometers away from the next settlement.
The campsite has:
9 pitches for caravans or motorhomes (all with electricity)
2 quietly located tent meadows for approx. 15 tents
12 cozy little bungalows for up to 4 people
2 rustic Finnish cabins for up to 8 people each
The sanitary facilities have recently been completely renovated and are very spacious, clean and bright.
