DDR exhibition DEUDERA
The permanent GDR exhibition DEUDERA in 99089 Erfurt, Salinenstraße 150, shows with original and original exhibits the everyday life over 40 years GDR on an area of about 600 square meters.
The exhibits cover a wide range of topics from this period, from households, home furnishings, art objects, books, radio and television to children's toys and vehicles, motor vehicles, sport and camping. In the exhibition store, you can purchase well-known GDR goods. In the art salon, special exhibitions enrich the collection of over 15,000 exhibits on display.
Above all, the opportunity to pick up and try out lots of things is very popular with visitors.
The in-house café offers food and drinks à la DDR and has a capacity of 32 seats. It can be rented for private and family celebrations. Films on interesting topics from GDR history are shown in the 16-seat film studio. It is also possible to view pictures and films you have brought with you.
The Circle of Friends runs the GDR exhibition DEUDERA (abbreviation for German Democratic Republic Exhibition) in the interest of preserving and maintaining this all-German cultural heritage.
