The Eichfeld church in its present form dates back to the 18th century. However, its history extends far beyond its current state. There were probably two previous buildings on the same site, and parts of the belfry from this period still exist. The oak trunks on which the belfry rests date back to 1194, while the year 1644 can be found on the beams, suggesting that the little house was built around the belfry in the 17th century. The church was rebuilt in 1751. The peasant baroque pulpit altar with integrated organ is particularly striking.
