Milbitz village church
Milbitz village church
The stone-faced hall church was built in 1696 on the site of a previous building. The church tower in the west on a square ground plan was not built until 1751. It was given a slate-covered, octagonal top, which is covered with a dome crowned by an open lantern with a spire ball. The nave has a slate-covered gabled roof. Inside, the flat-roofed first floor of the tower opens through a belt arch to the nave, which is spanned by a wooden barrel vault. The organ with eight stops, spread over one manual and one pedal, was built by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim in 1850.
