The village church of St. Christophorus in the Haufeld district of Rudolstadt has a central church tower, which was given its current shape in 1762. The original church was built in the 10th/11th century as a fortified church. There is a cemetery right next to the church. The church belongs to the parish of Teichel in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt church district of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany.
