Teichel village church
Teichel village church
The late Gothic town church was built in 1448. The oldest part of the Teichel town church is the tower consecrated in 1438.
In 2013, the 575th anniversary of the town church was celebrated, and in that year a recrowning of the tower also took place.
The hall church with three naves was built together with the annexes of the tower in a length of three bays. In the width of the nave, a three-sided closed choir adjoins to the east. The interior has two-story galleries on three sides. The nave is spanned between octagonal columns with a vault in a wooden construction. The organ was built in 1849 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim.
