The former fulling mill was located in Görmar, today a district of Mühlhausen. Görmar also lies on the Unstrut. The fulling mill was located on a branch of the millrace in front of the Unstrut weir in Görmar. The fulling mill was part of the cloth-making trade. Even in the 19th century, the mill was still used as a fulling mill. However, the mill ceased to operate at the latest when it was sold in 1925. The building was extended and rebuilt around 1990 and now houses a residential building.
