Eiringsburg Castle is located west of Arnshausen and south of Bad Kissingen. 

It is estimated that Eiringsburg Castle was built in the 7th century. The 120 × 65 meter complex was most likely used as a refuge and not as a seat of power. 

The Eiringsburg is located on the premium hiking trail "THE HOCHRHÖNER".
