The Elizabeth Plan is now an unofficial place of pilgrimage (the so-called Rose Miracle), where a small hospital for sick and needy people once stood around 1225, which was donated by St. Elisabeth. Today, only the Elisabeth Fountain remains as a reminder of the former hospital.
