Ellersleben
Ellersleben
Ellersleben is located in a scenic lowland somewhat away from the Lossa. The intensively farmed area rises considerably towards the south.
The village, which can be reached via a district road, impresses with its quiet location. The village can also be reached by public transport via bus or the nearby "Peppermint Railway". When the fields have been harvested and the sun is slowly losing its strength, the road to Ellersleben shines in glorious autumn colors.
One particular highlight is the "St. Elisabeth Church". After its closure in the 1970s, it was completely renovated with the help of civic commitment and support. It was not until 2009, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary celebrations, that it was consecrated with her name.
The village center is characterized by a small pond and adjacent playground. The former school offers space for the fire department and a club room. Ellersleben's social life is also characterized by its clubs.
