You don't have to travel to the end of the world or beyond the seven mountains to meet the fairytale heroes of childhood. Just behind the small town of Saalburg, close to the Bleiloch reservoir, the wooded area of the scenic Dornbachgrund surrounds a colorful fairytale paradise. Here, visitors encounter Hansel and Gretel, Little Red Riding Hood, Mother Hulda and many other fairytale characters. For example, our talking tree welcomes you at the entrance. The fairytale forest, which was created on a private initiative in 1990, is a destination for young and old alike. We have lovingly designed around 40 fairy tale scenes, mostly life-size, with great attention to detail. Due to its size, the Hexenknusperhaus has become the landmark of our park. Small rides, including the Luna Loop, Butterfly, cable car, the animal enclosure and play and climbing equipment for younger visitors provide entertainment and activity.
