The Ilfeld vacation home is located on the edge of the idyllic village on a 1000 square meter property. Ilfeld is located in one of the most beautiful valleys in the southern Harz, which is crossed by the River Bere and framed by magnificent deciduous and coniferous forests.

Geographically, Ilfeld is part of the southern Harz region and lies 260 m above sea level in a landscape conservation area, offering a wealth of rewarding hiking destinations and beautiful excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity.

We recommend the historic hiking trail, the romantic rock formations in the Ilfeld valley and the Herzberg viewpoints with the weather vane and Poppenberg tower.

The vacation home, which was completely renovated in 2018, is the perfect starting point for these hikes. It is located on the outskirts of the village, in a small residential street. Surrounded by stately larch trees, the large property offers sun and shade, fresh, spicy air and always a place to do nothing.

The furnishings are modern, with little to distract from the greenery outside the front door. The bedrooms are pleasantly cool and face west, the living room with large panoramic doors opens to the south and the sun beams in for a late breakfast.

Shopping facilities for daily needs are only a 5-minute walk away. Cycling and hiking trails and the Harz narrow-gauge railroad are also within easy reach. Rental pedelecs are available for a sporty exploration of the region.
