Our vacation apartment is located in the quiet district of Molbitz, only 5 km from Altenburg's city center. Cyclists are very welcome here. Take advantage of the cycle paths in the Kammerforst and enjoy a refreshing swim in Haselbacher See or in the Schelditz outdoor pool in summer. You can take the coal train through former mining areas and cross the border into Saxony. You can also take your bike with you and pedal back. A trip to Altenburg with its various museums is always worthwhile, whether you visit the Castle and Playing Card Museum, the Lindenau Museum, the Mauritianum Natural History Museum or the historic hairdressing salon. After the excursion you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden of our house, perhaps with an Altenburger beer or a Thuringian grilled sausage with Altenburger mustard. Pets are allowed on request.
