The well-signposted hiking trails invite you to go hiking and walking. Not far away and always worth a visit is the Leuchtenburg with its Porcelain Worlds exhibition, which was completed in 2015. You can reach the university town of Jena with its many sights, museums and shopping arcades in around 20 minutes.
