Telecommunications Museum
Telecommunications Museum
The telecommunications museum is a testimony to the development of telecommunications in northern Thuringia from its origins to the present day on historic Mühlhausen soil. Visitors can see numerous predominantly functional telephony and telex equipment as well as documentation from 1891 onwards. Furthermore, telex machines from the years 1943 - 1990 for telegram transmission in Mühlhausen and the surrounding area are presented, as well as those that were used in the companies. In addition, we offer several "Open Days", an "Open Monument Day" and a "Museum Day" throughout the year. A visit is always possible by appointment!
