Enjoy a versatile swimming area with a total of over 1,100 m² of water in the outdoor pool at Schwanenteich in Mühlhausen, which opened in 2020.

A swimmer's pool with six 25-meter lanes, a diving pool with a 1-meter board and a 3-meter diving tower, an adventure pool with a 16-meter wide slide and a 140 m² water playground for exuberant bathing fun await you. Accessibility is provided. The swimming pools are heated by over 500 m² of solar mats using solar energy and guarantee a pleasant water temperature. If there is no sun, they cool down accordingly.

A separate children's pool with adjoining adventure playground awaits the little water rats.  

A large part of the beautiful tree population of the old Mühlhausen outdoor pool is still preserved today and continues to provide shade, just as it did in the days of our grandparents more than 60 years ago.

 The infrastructure was completely changed with a ticket office building, a building for changing rooms, toilets (barrier-free), showers and the technical building with the swimming supervisor's office and first aid room.

If you're feeling peckish in between meals or even if you're really hungry, there's a bistro and an ice cream parlor on the premises with all kinds of delicious food, drinks and, of course, lots of ice cream.

Thanks to good transport links, directly on the B 249 and a regional public bus stop, you can easily reach the outdoor pool. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby.
