The Possen leisure and recreation park near Sondershausen is a true paradise for children and therefore the ideal destination for families. The Possen is surrounded by meadows and beech forests. Built in 1781, the octagonal timber lattice tower, the highest of its kind in Germany at almost 45 meters, is a popular viewing tower and also the landmark of the Possen.
