Wine has been grown in Strahlungen again since 2015. To this end, a total of 28 Strahlungen & Rhön residents have gradually joined forces to form Strahlungen Weinbergs GbR. On an area of 2.500 m² will be a total of 1,500 vines (Solaris, Regent, Scheurebe and Müller-Thurgau) are cultivated.

In the meantime, the Strahlunger Weinberg GbR Wine rights which make it possible to serve and give away the wine produced.

For the first time witnessed viticulture was introduced in Strahlungen in the Year 1293. At that time still by the Cistercian monastery Maria Bildhausen. Even today, there are still old vines which, according to the LWG, must be over 100 years old. These are the Silvaner and Riesling varieties.

The Strahlunger Weinbergs GbR organizes a vineyard glow in the vineyard every year between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Above the vineyard is also the municipal wedding site, the village community's barbecue area and two sun loungers and seating areas.
