The Fröbel Tower (785 m a.s.l.) is considered to be the Landmark of Oberweißbach and was built in 1890 in memory of Friedrich Fröbel. On the observation tower of this popular excursion destination, hikers are rewarded with magnificent panoramic views over the Thuringian low mountain range. A children's adventure trail, which was built using Fröbel's play instructions, is located right next to the tower in the outdoor area.
