Today, the Furthmühle is a pretty country hotel in a beautiful and peaceful location in the heart of Thuringia, in the Grabe district of Mühlhausen. After a long history as a mill, the lovingly renovated walls are now home to a hotel, a restaurant with a large terrace and a beer garden. From Grabe, guests can reach the nearby Volkenroda monastery via the Loccum Volkenroda pilgrimage route. Excursions by bike are possible on the Unstrut-Werra cycle path and the Unstrut cycle path. Excursions to Mühlhausen and the Hainich National Park are also possible.
