Inn "Zum Mohren
Inn "Zum Mohren
The "Zum Mohren" inn is one of the oldest inns in the town of Eisenberg. It was built in 1687 by the town council of Eisenberg and the first and last official Duke of Eisenberg. Carters coming from the southern forest areas and traveling to Naumburg used the "Mohren" to relax. In 1688, the inn was leased for the first time for 110 guilders. The burgher and court blacksmith Johann Gottlob Stichel ran the inn for many decades from 1822.
Today, the "Mohren" is one of the most popular restaurants in Eisenberg, after having been rebuilt and restored to its former glory.
In the dining room you can enjoy a good home-style meal at a reasonable price and spend some pleasant hours with a bottle of wine.
