The inn is located in the romantic Kanzlersgrund valley near the Oberhof ski jump. The quiet and idyllic location is ideal as a starting point for hikes in summer and cross-country skiing tours in winter. There is a free parking lot and a bus stop in front of the house.

Overnight stays are also possible in the more than 5 double rooms with shower, WC, satellite TV and free WLAN, as well as the spacious vacation apartment on the top floor and first floor. There is also a holiday home with space for up to 7 people.

The inn has 65 seats and offers home-style cooking with Thuringian specialties. There is a large sun terrace with seating for approx. 50 people with an unobstructed view of the beautiful landscape of the Thuringian Forest.
