Martin Luther's place of residence and study from 1501 to 1505.
It is certain that the future Augustinian hermit monk and reformer Martin Luther moved into the Georgernburse at the end of April 1501 as a seventeen-year-old student. Medieval studies mainly took place in colleges and bursaries.
