Jingle Bells" glassblowing workshop
Jingle Bells" glassblowing workshop
When you enter the Köhler family's little Christmas world, you are sure to meet Bärbel Köhler, who produces the range together with her husband Rolf. In true teamwork, Rolf Köhler, a glassblower, produces the blanks, which Bärbel Köhler and another employee artistically paint and decorate. Here, too, the whole family helps out when the Christmas season starts in late summer.
A specialty in the family's range of Christmas tree decorations are the extra-large giant baubles, which, with a diameter of up to 25 cm, are only produced by a few glassblowers. Bärbel Köhler has also noticed an increased demand from her customers for classic designs in red, gold or silver and old shapes such as hanging tips, reflective baubles and birds. However, the Köhler family is happy to accommodate special customer requests in production - no wish should remain unfulfilled here!
Her Christmas room is a particularly good place to browse: there are always new decorative pieces to be found here, from historic doll's prams from Sonneberg to individual hanging baskets.
