Gössitz is a typical farming village with three- and four-sided farms. The "Neumannshof" with its campsite belongs to Gössitz. This recreational area is idyllically situated on the northern shore of the Hohenwarte reservoir. Holidaymakers have many opportunities - on foot, by car, boat or passenger ship - to explore the surrounding area and the Thuringian Slate Mountains.
