Goethe Café
Goethe Café
The bathhouse above the pool was built in 1812. In 1816, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was one of the first bathers to bathe in the house. The small bathhouse was restored and has been used as a café ever since. During renovation work in 2010, the forgotten pool was found under the floor of the café. The café bears Goethe's name. The proximity to the water and embedded in a small but beautiful landscaped park offers guests pleasant coolness and relaxation in summer.
In addition to many café and ice cream specialties, the Goethe Café also offers its guests homemade cakes and freshly prepared waffles. Of course, ice cream is also available to take away.
