The Grabenkaponniere II is one of the very few caponiers in Germany that is still largely in its original condition. It is a two-storey building with a 1.50 m thick earth covering. This was once intended to protect against shelling.

Today, the building serves as a materials warehouse for the Petersberg construction lodge.
