The Eichsfeld Borderland Museum provides vivid information about the history of Germany's division. An interactive model of Germany, media stations, quiz apps and children's booklets guide visitors of all ages through the exhibition at the former Duderstadt/Worbis border crossing. In addition, the oppressive and brutal character of the GDR border is made tangible on a circular trail using original control buildings, vehicle barriers and signal fences. An observation tower can be visited as part of a guided tour.
