You can reach the former Braunsroda manor directly via the A 71, Heldrungen exit. The current owners, Kristin and Georg v. Bismarck, run a restaurant with overnight accommodation in the baroque manor house. The three stylishly furnished vacation apartments can be booked all year round - even for just one night. Dogs are also welcome and WLAN is available. The regional farmers' markets on the historic estate offer a special shopping experience every 1st Saturday from April to December. At around 50 stalls, regional producers present products from agriculture, gardening and crafts. Hiking opportunities and guided tours are offered in the forest area of the adjacent nature conservation project "Hohe Schrecke".
