The hammersmith's workshop is in its original condition and shows a facility from around 1920, where locksmith, shoemaker, claw, magnet and tile hammers for roofers and chasing hammers for engravers and goldsmiths were produced until 1991.
The forge fire was maintained with hard coal and coke, and the forging presses, drop hammers, spring hammers and air hammers were set in motion via transmissions with pulleys and drive belts.
