In the rooms of the Heimatstube, interested visitors from near and far can be guided into the world of the past.

 "The housewife rules wisely in the domestic circle
She works her busy hands without end.
And increase the profit with a sense of order."

 .... is one of many embroidered sayings that can be found on doilies, decorative ribbons, wall hangings and the like in the Nazzaer Heimatstübchen.

In 2009, the Nazzaer Heimatstube was able to look back on 10 years of existence. It was inaugurated on July 11, 1999 in the rooms of the old school. A lot of work and commitment was invested in this project. The result is impressive.

When we enter the Heimatstube today, we are transported back decades. From a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with furniture from the olden days to all the utensils that were once essential in a bedroom.
Hand-woven underwear in a wide variety of designs and around 10 complete original costumes from the 19th century fill the massive old closets.
On various occasions, such as village festivals, parades and the like, our traditional costumes have already garnered much admiration, and there have even been "traditional costume fashion shows". 

Many of the tools needed to process the products harvested or produced from animal husbandry can be found here. People in the countryside used to provide for themselves. Everything they harvested and produced from animal husbandry was then processed. For example, there is a hemp crusher, a reef, a wooden press, cake boards, centrifuges, a butter churn, wooden butter molds, a laundry ironer from the 1930s, a Nister lamp from the 1920s, ... the list could go on and on.

 An entry in the guestbook reads:
"When I entered the Heimatstube, I felt transported back to my childhood and saw many Nazza residents before me again and was reminded of many past events. Thank you very much! Unique for a small village!"
