Sky show Gläserberg
Sky show Gläserberg
The sky show Gläserberg is located near Dermbach on the mountain of the same name Gläser.
At the summit of the Gläser, 670 meters above sea level, you will find a Panoramic view over the Rhön mountains and into the night sky.
The sky display is equipped with a polar star finder, which can be used to find the North Star. With the help of a star chart, it is possible to orientate yourself in the sky and find constellations. The binoculars holder ensures a steady hand when you want to look at the stars and you can relax and enjoy the starry sky on the wave lounger.
The celestial scene can be reached on foot via the HOCHRHÖNER® and the family hiking trail "Rhön Creation Trail" accessible.
Below the summit there is a Parking lotwhich can be reached from the direction of Föhlritz (path not asphalted). Out of consideration for the wildlife and local residents, visitors are asked to keep quiet, not to carry any bright light sources and to stay on the designated paths and areas.
