The Historical Agricultural Machinery Museum illustrates the long tradition of historical agricultural work using the example of tractors and agricultural machinery. This project is being implemented by the Historischer Landmaschinenverein e. V., which was founded in 1992.

The fair for Großengottern was privileged as early as 1666. Today, the Gotter Fair is still held every year in September and traditionally includes the historic tractor show on Fair Sunday.

The museum is located in the town center.
