This hill, which is located about 1.8 km north of Wollbrandshausen and at 242 meters is not one of the highest elevations in the Lower Eichsfeld, but with its unobstructed view on all sides is one of the most beautiful vantage points in the entire region. For many Catholic Christians far beyond the region of the Eichsfeld, this hill has become a place of hope for an intense experience of God in Christ, also in the encounter with Mary and the saints.
