Forellenhof Themar has always stood for the finest quality fish from Thuringia. Rainbow trout, golden trout, brown trout and brook trout are hatched and pre-stretched here under optimum conditions before finally making their way to the region's fish restaurants.

If you want to see the quality of the catch for yourself, visit the farm store right next to the breeding facilities. Various stages of refinement of the fish stock are offered here. From fresh or smoked trout or salmon trout to fine fillet products and home-made trout caviar - everything can be inspected and purchased freshly packaged here. Depending on the season, carp, char, brown trout and eel are also part of the farm store's repertoire.
