Hülfensberg
Hülfensberg
The pilgrimage site on the 448 m high Hülfensberg has existed since the 14th century. The pilgrimage church was built between 1360 and 1367. A Romanesque cross from the 12th century is venerated by the faithful. During the German-German division, the pilgrimage site, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the border fence, was only accessible to a small number of Eichsfeld residents.
