The small refuge above Benshausen up to the Schwarzer Kopf offers a beautiful view of the village. Hiking trails to the Geisenhimmel mining lodge or to the Suhl district of Albrechts also pass by here. Benches and a table inside provide ample opportunity for a rest, while the spacious roof offers shelter in all weathers.
