The Schwarzes Moor information point is located in the border triangle (Bavaria, Hesse, Thuringia) at the Schwarzes Moor. Visitors can find out about the largest Bavarian nature reserve outside the Alps, the "Lange Rhön", and about the Black Moor.

Regional products from the Rhön umbrella brand as well as hiking maps and literature about the Rhön can be purchased in the store area. Information on hiking and other leisure activities is also available.

In the kiosk, visitors can enjoy regional dishes such as bratwurst or Bionade; ideal before or after completing the nature trail through the Black Moor and visiting the observation tower. 

Note:

The moorland nature trail and observation tower may be closed in the winter months, winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails are available in appropriate weather conditions.
