The playground was created as part of the redesign and redevelopment of the entire park area at the former combined heat and power plant. In 2020, five years after the power station was demolished, the park was opened to the public and this playground now offers a very special place where everyone can play together without exception.

The sand-lined playground has a variety of scaffolding and equipment for children of different ages and sizes. Many details, such as separate walkways, non-slip coatings and equipment as well as a sophisticated wheelchair trampoline area, make this playground accessible to all.
