The Janismühle is a paradise for those seeking relaxation, hikers, cyclists, riders and vacationers. Our riding stable has several ponies and horses. For our young and old guests we offer cozy rides or carriage and Kremser rides through the beautiful Zeitzgrund. We have the right carriage for every occasion, from family celebrations to school reunions. We also have a small petting zoo.

Located in our family-run business in the Zeitzgrund region between Gera and Jena, our restaurant with three separate dining rooms offers hearty Thuringian cuisine, such as tasty treats or fresh, home-baked cakes with an aromatic cup of coffee. Our typically rustic-style guest rooms and fireplace room offer you the opportunity for celebrations of all kinds. Enjoy the summer with us at Zeitzgrund: in addition to the restaurant, there are also two beer gardens available.
