The Kalte Lüder has its source in the municipality of Hosenfeld and is a tributary of the Lüder. The 8.8 km-long tributary supplies 5 mills and flows into the Lüder south of Kleinlüder. 

The Kalte Lüder is located on the premium hiking trail Extra tour "Mill tour".
