The Roman Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist is the church of Brendlorenzen, a district of Bad Neustadt an der Saale in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld. It is one of the architectural monuments of Bad Neustadt an der Saale.

St. Martin's Church (later renamed St. John the Baptist) was first mentioned as early as 741/742. In a document from the year 822, Louis the Pious confirms that the Carolingian Karlmann donated this royal church as one of 25 churches of his own to the newly founded diocese of Würzburg in 741/742 as an initial endowment.

The romantic parish church of St. Johannes Baptist is built on the foundations of the Carolingian basilica of St. Martin, which dates back to 741/42 and is one of the oldest church buildings in Germany. The baroque high altar (1719), the sermon lectern and the fresco paintings are among the most valuable church treasures in the district.
