Cascade Valley Bad Kissingen
Cascade Valley Bad Kissingen
The Kaskadental in the east of the Klauswald is the epitome of idyll! The Kaskadental stream meanders through the quiet forest, rippling its way down into the valley. The fresh and cool air provides welcome cooling, especially in summer. In the middle of the 18th century, the then Prince-Bishop Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim had the artificial cascades created for the recreation of the spa guests and decorated with various sculptures. Even though the sculptures have unfortunately disappeared in the meantime, it is worth taking an extended walk through the cascade valley to feel the calming effect of the forest and the water.
