After the demolition of individual buildings on the Anger, the church was built in 1870 and consecrated three years later. The bell tower with pointed roof, the pillars and pointed arch windows are characteristic of this church. The large nave is designed in a simple modern style. The winged altar comes from the former Cistercian convent.
