Kirchheilingen
Kirchheilingen
Kirchheilingen is located on the B 84 between Bad Langensalza and Sondershausen at the beginning of a valley in the Heilinger Heights. The first records date back to 833. Kirchheilingen has been part of the Bad Tennstedt administrative community since 1994.
Kirchheilingen is a modern village with a good infrastructure and an active community life. In addition to catering facilities, a doctor's surgery and pharmacy, kindergarten, school and many small and medium-sized businesses, Kirchheilingen is also home to the agricultural cooperative of the same name, one of the largest employers in the administrative community.
The K² cycle path, which is very important for the region, leads to the former railroad station site, which is home to the Kleinbahn Museum with an original place to stay overnight, the Kleinbajmpension.
Numerous cultural events take place next door in the "Alter Speicher" and the "Öbsterstübchen". In addition to folklore, readings, cabaret and dance events, the traditional festivals and celebrations of the village are also held here.
A particular attraction in summer is the spacious outdoor pool with swimming pool and heated children's pool.
